E. coli contract production

Bioneer has previously produced several grams of purified recombinant protein using the available E. coli expression platforms. Bioneer A/S can assist you with the scale-up of protein production as well as purification of intracellular and periplasmic heterologous proteins.

Bioneer has many years of experience with expression and purification of periplasmic proteins in E. coli. The efficient purification protocol is optimised for periplasmic proteins and will result in pure protein without contamination.

Using the optimized and validated SOPs developed for the protein of interest, Bioneer can produce the protein in our bioreactors at a 20 L scale on a contractual basis.

Our facility includes equipment for downstream processing, e.g. cell harvest by cross flow filtration and cell homogenization. Purification and any characterisation that may be relevant for the protein of interest are also performed in-house.
